About Me

My photo
Lean Consultant
Phnom Penh, Cambodia
My first exposure to lean manufacturing was somewhere in 2004. I was starting practicing lean as team leader on the shopfloor, places where value added activities occur the most. I began to love it and do it! Presently, I am at practicing as internal consultant level trying to work with management team to transform the entire organization into a true lean and make it stick! I am here with purpose of promoting lean world and hopefully I could share some of practices and learning from else where in the world.

Interesting Message:

"Lean is a strategy for creating sustainable competitive advantage through operational excellence. It is achieved by the continuous elimination of all activities, and therefore time, that doesn't add value for the customer. This frees up resources and creates the capacity to grow without adding commensurate resources, allowing for market share growth to take place with each new unit of growth consuming less relative resources, thereby accelerating cash flow growth". what transpired is that one can perhaps describe TPS/lean techniques, but they are not fully understood until practiced.

Orest J. Fiume, retired Vice President – Finance, The Wiremold Company.
